Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro official renders arrive, announcement set for October 29 | Infinium-tech
We expected the Xiaomi 15 series to be unveiled on October 23 but it looks like it’s happening on October 29 at 7PM China time. Company CEO Lu Weibing confirmed the date on Weibo.
In the meantime we got a chance to enjoy some high-quality press renders, courtesy of tech blogger Karthikeya Singh over at X. The Xiaomi 15 Pro is 8.35mm thin and weighs 213 grams – 10 grams lighter than the 14 Pro.
The display is micro quad curved and covered with second-generation Xiaomi Longjing glass. According to Xiaomi CEO Lu Weibing, the camera island features a ceramic lens deco design.

The Xiaomi 15 features a 6.36-inch display with 1.38mm bezels all around. It should compete with the upcoming Oppo Find X8 due to its thinnest bezels.

Finally, the 15 series will be the first Xiaomi flagship to use an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner instead of optical. Ultrasonic technology is generally faster and more accurate, and it doesn’t require exposing your finger to the light to read it – welcome to the dark.
