WhatsApp introduces custom lists for your chats | Infinium-tech
Today WhatsApp has released a new feature – Custom List. It’s an evolution of chat filters, which were introduced earlier this year as a way to find messages faster.
With custom lists, you can filter your chats into custom categories of your choice – you can have a list for anything: family, work, your neighborhood, etc.
Creating a new list is as easy as tapping + in the filter bar at the top of your chat tab in WhatsApp. Long press a list to edit it.
Similar to your Favorites, you can add both group and one-on-one chats to any list. All the lists you created will appear in the filter bar.
The rollout of this feature has already started but it will take a few weeks for it to be available to every WhatsApp user.
