Weekly poll results: the Xiaomi 17 series is looking like a winner | Infinium-tech
The launch of Snapdragon 8 Elite Jean 5 highlighted a edge of the new flagship – the first 17 series of Xiaomi were rebuilt. The series has a separate makeup this year in addition to a large model (this time Prof. Max name) with a vanilla and premium 6.3 “model.
Starting with the new one, Xiaomi 17 Pro attracted people with its more advanced camera system. This Pro Max is not equal to the camera because a beefier packs a telephoto module (large sensor, comprehensive aperture), although sensors are the same resolution and focal lengths.
Some were wooed by a large battery inside the vanilla Xiaomi 17, although even the 17 Pro model has a larger battery than the Xiaomi 15, its immediate predecessor. However, the most popular option so far is Bada Xiaomi 17 Pro Max-it has a better camera and large battery, which avoids any “either-or” conundrums.
Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has an elder brother to worry – some are fearing the arrival of an ultra model, which will have better cameras. Pro and Pro Max cameras look quite competent, but the promise of 1 “sensor and double telephoto cameras (one of which is 200MP sensor) is difficult for those looking for a cutting edge camera experience. It was the same that was the same that was brought Xiaomi 15 Ultra, anyway, we still, we still have to see what 17 ultra will look.
For new convenience on Pro and Pro Max, rear display – is it a gimmick? Some feel that this main camera is amazing for selfie that enables it, but the majority is bending to “not useful”. It is not necessarily a gimmick, but why is there a less competent selfie camera that puts a hole in the screen when you can use rear cameras? Why not display camera? Right now people are not convinced that this new setup is worth it.
Xiaomi 17 leaves the rear display and packs a huge 7,000mAh battery – it is not that long ago we would have thought that 6.3 “is impossible to fit that battery in the phone. You lose 5x/115 mm telephoto camera with this one, get only 2.6x/60 mm module, but also a little less than the phone.
Given the poll results, Xiaomi was perfect to divide 17 series into three models – each got an audience. And is an audience for ultra model, eagerly waiting for its arrival (Xiaomi has said anything, but it probably will not come before the start of 2026).
In China, the Xiaomi 17 series is already a hit, more than the sale of 1 million in record time. Now it is dependent on Xiaomi to handle the global launch well – will all three models be available globally or will it leave one? And what will be their cost?
