vivo Y05 debuts with Unisoc SoC, big battery | Infinium-tech
The Vivo Y04 was launched in February 2025, and exactly a year later, its successor, the Y05, has now made its debut in the Middle East.
The phone comes with a 6.74-inch 720×1600 IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200-nit peak brightness, and is powered by the 4G-only Unisoc T7225 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of expandable storage. There is an 8MP camera on the back and for selfies you get a 5MP shooter.

The Y05 features a metal frame and a plastic back, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor in the power button, an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, and an RGB notification LED on the back. The lights are powered by a 6,500 mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging.

The handset runs on Android 16 with Vivo’s OriginOS 6. It measures 167.4 x 77.1 x 8.4 mm and weighs 209 grams. It is being offered in black and white colors. The Y05 is priced at $109.
