vivo V70 and T5x certified on their way to India | Infinium-tech
Vivo is working on the V70, which is the successor to the V60 that was launched in August. The series is refreshed twice a year, the V50 arrived in February, so it’s not surprising to see the V70 already certified by BIS for sale in India.
As is customary, this certification does not reveal any specifications for the phone, which will have model number V2538. However it does confirm that the phone is coming to the all-important Indian market.

Along with the V70, another device was also certified by BIS, with model number V2545. This is likely to be the upcoming T5x, the successor to the T4x that arrived in March.
The Vivo V70 is going to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. It will run on Android 16 with OriginOS 6. It’s expected to be a rebranded S50, which is going official in China next week.
If successful, the V70 will feature an OLED screen with “1.5K” resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, triple rear cameras (50MP main, 50MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, 50MP ultrawide), 50MP selfie camera, and a 6,500 mAh battery with 90W wired charging. IP69 dust and water resistance rating is also likely to be present.
