vivo V60 debuts with 6,500 mAh battery, ZEISS-backed triple rear camera setup | Infinium-tech
Vivo finally picked up the curtain from V60, its latest mid-range camera-centric phone. The phone made her debut in India with a 50 MP telephoto camera and a large 6,500 mAh battery. This will success the Vivo V50, which was unveiled in India in February.
One of the main attractions of Vivo V60 is its Zeiss-supported triple rear camera setup, which includes 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and 3x optical zoom. This is the same telephoto camera found on the Vivo X200.
The camera setup also includes 50 MP primary Sony IMX766 camera with OIS and an 8 MP ultravide angle shooter. The handset provides an aura ring LED flash, an AI Char-Terry Portrait feature and a wedding vlog mode specifically for India. On the front, the phone has another 50 MP camera with 92 degrees Fov.
The V60 gets a 6.77-inch AMOLED Quad-Kres display with full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 5,000 NITs peak brightness, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Vivo V60 packs a 6,500 mAh battery that supports 90W charging and according to Vivo, it is the thinnest phone with such a large cell. The phone is 7.53 mm thin and its weight is 192 grams (Mist Gray variant).
It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 General 4 SOC, which is combined with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The phone also gets a vapor chamber cooling system.
Vivo V60 runs out of the box Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. The phone will get a four -year Android OS and six -year security updates.
Other main attractions of the phone include an IP68 and IP69 ratings, dual SIM support, 4K video recording, and AI features including Google Gemini.
It will be sold in Mist Gray, Moonlight Blue and auspicious gold color options in India. The Vivo V60 price starts at INR 36,999 ($ 425), for 8 GB/128 GB version. This phone will also be available in INR 38,999 ($ 445), 12 GB/256 GB priced in 8 GB/256 GB, which costs INR 40,999 ($ 470), and 16 GB/512 GB model, which is the cost of INR 45,999 ($ 525). It will go on sale in India from August 19.
