Vivo is releasing OriginOS 6. The main improvements are new AI features, smoother UI animations, improvements to the animated island around the front camera punch hole, and a new style for the user interface. Watch the video and tell us if it sounds familiar:
It looks just like glass, doesn’t it? Well, Vivo could actually call it water instead of glass because it’s more on Vivo’s brand. Nevertheless, translucent UI elements and blurred backgrounds have recently become more popular with the arrival of iOS 26.
OriginOS 6 has a new translucent look
Vivo plans to launch OriginOS globally on October 15 and it has already announced the OriginOS 6 preview program for Android 16 update for Vivo and iQOO phones.
