vivo officially unveils OriginOS 6, here’s the device roadmap | Infinium-tech
OriginOS 6 is now official. The unveiling of the OS was a major part of the Vivo 2025 developer conference, which also saw the unveiling of BlueOS 3.0 and CarLink 3.0.
OriginOS 6 brings a new design that Vivo says is a more spatial and layered experience. Elements have a 3D effect and appear physically above and below other visual elements due to shadow and translucent effects, similar to Apple’s liquid glass look on iOS 26.
Animations have been extensively upgraded with new motion effect curves, and details have been polished and aimed to deliver the most natural and intuitive interactive experience.
OriginOS 6 features a new icon design, inspired by the textured icons on the Vivo X Fold5. They have been re-imagined through light and shadow layering for a more spatial experience.
OriginOS 6 has already premiered in China, but its global unveiling will take place on October 15. The upcoming Vivo X300 and iQOO 15 series will debut with OriginOS 6.
Vivo has announced that it will open the OriginOS 6 public beta in November and has given a detailed list of which devices will get OriginOS 6 and when. The first phones to get OriginOS 6 in November are Vivo X Fold5, Vivo X200 series and iQOO 13 and iQOO Neo10 series.
