This case will add a second display to your iPhone 17 Pro | Infinium-tech
Every now and then, an interesting product idea comes along that could be useful if executed correctly. This is an iPhone case called Selfix from the Dockcase brand. The case is designed for the iPhone 17 Pro series and adds a secondary display on the back.
The Selfix Case offers a circular 1.6-inch AMOLED touch display on the back with a 480 x 480-pixel resolution.
The primary purpose of the rear display is to let you use the high-quality 48MP rear camera for selfies and video recording. It also enables ultrawide group selfies, which the front camera can’t match. The screen also doubles as a framing preview before pressing the shutter.
However, this is not all. The case also has a PD 3.0 USB-C port that supports up to 100W input, a dedicated power button to turn the display on or off, and a microSD card slot that supports up to 2TB of storage.
DockCase claims that the rear display offers a zero-lag experience and there is no need to install any separate apps on the case. The company also notes that the microSD card can be used to store additional photos and videos in the iPhone library.
We don’t have availability and pricing details for the Selfix iPhone 17 Pro Case yet, but the product is expected to go live on Kickstarter soon. Upon release, it will be available in Blush Pink, Oat White and Midnight Black color options.
