There’s a $1 coin with Steve Jobs on it now | Infinium-tech
The US Mint has decided to honor the memory of legendary Apple co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs by designing a $1 innovation coin bearing his portrait.
It is part of an annual tradition in which the US Mint honors American innovation and “pioneering efforts of individuals or groups”. One of the 2026 Innovation coins features Steve Jobs, you can see it below.
He sits cross-legged in front of a California landscape of hills and oak trees. The US Mint’s official announcement states, “His pose and expression, as he is captured in a moment of reflection, show how this environment inspired his vision of transforming complex technology into something as intuitive and organic as nature”.
The coin bears the inscriptions “United States of America”, “California”, “Steve Jobs”, and “Build Something Amazing”.
