The Xiaomi 15 series will be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite phones on the market | Infinium-tech
The Xiaomi 15 series will premiere the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite in the market. The announcement comes after Qualcomm unveiled its new flagship chipset at the Snapdragon Summit 2024 in Hawaii.
Senior VP Adam Zeng (Zeng Xuezhong) announced this during his few minutes on stage.
Xiaomi is expected to unveil the 15 series tomorrow, October 23. It will likely launch only the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro first, with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra coming later, possibly in early 2025.
The Xiaomi 15 series will initially be China-only, but we expect the vanilla 15 and 15 Ultra to make their global debut in early 2025.
