The Infinix Note 60 series will use Snapdragon chipsets | Infinium-tech
Infinix’s upcoming Note 60 series will use Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, the brand has officially confirmed today. This is significant as this is the first time that Infinix has gone the Snapdragon route for its phones in many years – all recent phones have been powered by MediaTek SoCs.
Infinix says that “select models” in the Note 60 series will choose Snapdragon instead of MediaTek, and it has already been confirmed via pre-order pages in some markets that the Note 60 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 7S Gen 4.
Infinix aims to achieve deeper integration of chipset capabilities within its product portfolio through its work with Qualcomm on system-level optimization, in order to provide “an enhanced and more intuitive user experience”.
By integrating Snapdragon SoCs, the Note 60 series, according to Infinix, is “set to unlock extraordinary possibilities and deliver next-level experiences to users around the world”. The official press release states that the Note 60 series is “focused on delivering advanced, consistent and stable performance across core areas including power efficiency, immersive gaming, advanced imaging and integrated AI experiences”.
