An X user posted a picture of 3DMark steel nomad light benchmark, which has an Exynos 2600 scoring impressive 3,135 Points, which you expect from Snapdragon 8 Elite-Powered smartphone, is about 15% more than what you expect. So if we go by this leakage, Xclipse 960 GPU of Exynos 2600 will be more powerful than the current Snapdragon flagship chip.
But there are more nuances on it. First, Samsung’s SoC is running on a test bench, which often performs better than a smartphone because it has better cooling, and high raw performance with better cooling.
Secondly, this is probably not the final version of the chipset, as it is coming in early 2026 with the Galaxy S26 series, and for example, there may be some changes in clock speed. In addition, Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is expected to be released by then.
Therefore, at the end of the day, it is too early to explain whether Exynos will perform better than the best hardware of 2600 Qualcomm, but these initial results definitely look promising.
