Tecno Phantom V Fold2 lands in the Google Play Console revealing some specs | Infinium-tech
Tecno launched the Phantom V Fold in February last year and now it looks like its successor is on the way. The Phantom V Fold 2 was spotted on Geekbench in January and has now surfaced on the Google Play Console.
The listing reveals that it is named Phantom V Fold2 and not Phantom V2 Fold as we thought when we covered its Geekbench run a few months back. The upcoming device will be powered by a MediaTek chipset, which could be a variant of the Dimensity 9000+, the same SoC that powered its previous model.
This will be paired with 12GB of RAM (again, just like the original Phantom V Fold). The internal screen will also have the same resolution: 2000×2296.
If you’re wondering what the upgrades will be, the battery capacity will be one of them: 5,610 mAh according to TUV certification, up from 5,000 mAh in the original. The Phantom V Fold2 has also been certified for sale in Europe, so it will be offered in at least parts of that continent.
