T-Mobile MVNO lets an AI clone your voice, handle some of the calls for you | Infinium-tech
A mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) on T-Mobile’s network, called Really, announced a new AI-based pilot project. Its goal is to build an AI assistant trained on your voice to handle small calls for you. The company’s CEO says the AI clone is not meant to replace you, but to help you focus on what’s important.

The feature is pretty straightforward. The AI trains on your voice, speaking style and communication preferences. Your AI clone will pick up the calls you don’t want to handle, like reservation confirmations, sales agents, customer support, etc. Once the call ends, the AI will give you a quick summary of the conversation.
The funny thing is that it also has a feature that is specifically designed for scammers. The AI is trained to deliberately waste the time of fraudsters and also tracks how much time it wasted on them.
The AI clone, actually named “Clone”, can also make calls on your behalf. It can schedule appointments for you and even follow up on messages. An ideal solution for anyone suffering from call anxiety.
