Spotify to raise US subscription prices in Q1 2026 | Infinium-tech
In August, Spotify announced price increases for Premium users in markets across South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Now it is being heard that the Sweden-based music streaming company is preparing to increase subscription prices in America as well.
Citing three people familiar with the matter. financial Times Spotify is reportedly preparing to raise subscription prices in the US in the first quarter of 2026 as it looks to demonstrate sustained profitability.

The publication also highlights pressure on Spotify (and other music streaming services) from major record labels to increase prices to keep up with inflation.
It’s worth noting that Spotify’s last price increase in the US was in June 2024, and the Premium plan currently costs $11.99/month for an individual.
