Spotify introduces Fitness hub with guided workout videos, partners with Peloton | Infinium-tech
Spotify wants to be a bigger part of your workout routine — there’s no shortage of playlists to listen to, but the company announced today that it’s introducing guided workout experiences.
These are available to both free and premium users and you can access them on your phone, computer or TV. You can find them through new fitness hub. In addition to this link, you can go to the Browse All tab or search for the term “fitness.”
Spotify starts things off with content from well-known creators like Yoga with Cassandra, Caitlin Kelly Yoga, Sweaty Studio, Chloe Ting Home Workouts, Pilates Body by Raven, Abby Mills Wellness, SophieReadFit, and more.
Although you might think of Spotify as an audio service, some workouts come in video form, while others come as audio only. In the Fitness Hub, they are divided into categories to help you find the right workout for you, like Cardio: Floor or Cardio: Outdoor, Yoga or Pilates, etc.
Additionally, thanks to the new partnership, premium subscribers will have access to Peloton’s content — a catalog of 1,400 (and counting) on-demand classes. It “includes everything from outdoor runs to structured mat-class options to strength, cardio, yoga and meditation from fan-favorite instructors like Rebecca Kennedy, Ellie Love and Rad Lopez”. And no, you don’t need Peloton equipment to use these classes.
