The Xparia 1 VI now supports the latest generation Wi-Fi connectivity
Wi-Fi 7 brings faster connections and better stability with lower latency (100 times lower than Wi-Fi 6) due to support for 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands. It is also rated at a maximum throughput of 46 Gbit/s. It appears that the new update for the Xperia 1 VI will arrive after a phased release, which means some regions will receive it before others.
