Sony, Oppo, and Huawei snatch EISA 2024 awards | Infinium-tech

According to EISA, the Sony Xperia 1 VI is the best creator smartphone for 2024-2025. The Expert Imaging and Sound Association announced its winners in six categories, and in the mobile devices section, Honor, Oppo and Huawei products joined the Xperia flagship as being excellent in their field.

The Honor 200 Pro was chosen as the Best Smartphone, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro is the Best AI Smartphone, while the recently introduced Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Edition is the Best Smartwatch.

The Xperia 1 VI was chosen as the “Ultimate Smartphone for Creators” for its triple camera with Zeiss optics and Exmor T* coating. It has a 12 MP telephoto lens with 3.5x-7.1x continuous optical zoom and a one-stop camera app for all creator needs. We found it to have well-tuned speakers and an impeccable Active Use score.

The Honor 200 Pro also caught the attention of the committee, and won the overall award for its “versatile triple-camera setup” and the lovely design of the back panel. Its unique portrait mode is also worth mentioning as it delivers shots that are just like professional shots in a photo studio.

AI smartphones are the new prize among mobile devices, and we can expect this to remain so for the foreseeable future. The Reno 12 Pro was chosen for its AI Eraser 2.0 feature that removes unwanted objects, while AI Clear Face increases clarity and reduces distortion in the face part of the photo.

The Huawei Watch 4 Pro is a great wearable in its own right, but EISA has singled out the Space Edition for its dual-colour nano-crystalline ceramic bezel. It’s red and black, and Huawei has confirmed multiple times that it’s not just a paintjob, but a complex process that takes up to 7 days to create a bezel with such detail.
