Samsung’s One UI 7.0 beta to arrive next month | Infinium-tech
Samsung’s first public beta for One UI 15, based on Android 7, was rumored to go live for the Galaxy S24 family this week. That hasn’t happened yet, and according to a new rumor, it won’t. Instead, it’s reportedly been delayed until the third week of August.
The reason for the delay is apparently the One UI 6.1.1 update, which is still rolling out to older foldables, tablets, and some high-end devices. So it seems Samsung wants to focus on one update at a time.

One UI 7 will be a huge update that will bring a new design to Samsung’s skin on top of Android. As per recent leaks, it will have a new quick settings panel that will be separate from notifications, more rounded corners across the UI, new icons for Samsung apps, a new lock screen design with battery charging status and bold shortcuts, a search bar at the bottom of the app drawer, and a new camera app that will be easier to use with one hand thanks to the placement of settings and modes.
Also, there are rumours of new, smoother animations being included, but we’ll only believe it when we see it.
