Samsung’s new Smart Keyboard can connect to three devices over Bluetooth, has a DeX key | Infinium-tech
Samsung has unveiled a Tenkeyless keyboard that can be used with your Galaxy phone, tablet or laptop – in fact, the keyboard can work with all three devices simultaneously.
It uses Bluetooth 5.4 to connect to up to three devices and you can switch between them using a dedicated key (with an LED above it to indicate the currently active connection). However, there is no 2.4GHz dongle. If you have a desk setup with a monitor at home this could be a great option – this is the type of setup DeX was created for.

This keyboard – simply called the Samsung Smart Keyboard – also has a dedicated DeX button and F1, F2 and F3 can also act as app shortcuts. These features require One UI 8.0 or above.

Naturally, there’s also an AI button – on Android phones and tablets it calls up either Samsung Bixby or Google Gemini, on Windows devices it calls up Microsoft CoPilot.

It is a thin 4.3 mm keyboard with aluminum finish. It weighs 218 grams and has a pitch of 19 mm. The keyboard is powered by a coin cell battery (CR2032), which promises “long-lasting battery life,” but Samsung doesn’t provide any concrete numbers.
It’s an odd choice – AAA batteries are more practical (longer lasting and you can use rechargeable batteries). Additionally, Samsung doesn’t offer a matching wireless mouse, so the ability to switch the keyboard between three devices is hindered – you need a mouse that also supports three devices and you’ll have to switch the keyboard and mouse separately. Let’s just say that Logitech can sleep easy.
