Samsung’s Galaxy Glasses detailed ahead of rumored 2026 unveiling | Infinium-tech
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy XR headset last month, and according to several previous rumors, its next product in the series will be a pair of glasses.
Its first pair of XR glasses has now been identified as model number SM-O200P. The “O” in that model number confirms that we’re not talking about just any other headset, as the Galaxy XR has an “I” in place of the “O” in its model number.

Meta Ray-Ban Glasses
Samsung’s first XR glasses could be similar to Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses, and in fact previous rumors said the Korean company would first launch a pair without a screen in 2026, followed by a pair with a screen in 2027.
The first pair of glasses reportedly feature transition lenses, meaning they automatically darken when exposed to sunlight and become transparent indoors. Transitions is a registered trademark of Essilor Luxottica, maker of Ray-Ban and many other brands, so it will be interesting to see if Samsung will also use these lenses like the Meta, or just transition-Like Photochromic ones.
Like the Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses, Samsung’s will also have a camera, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. But they add a mobile data connection that the Meta Glass lacks. Samsung has already registered the Galaxy Glasses name, so there’s a good chance that these could be called that.
The Galaxy Glasses will definitely launch in the US, and certainly in other markets too, but they haven’t been leaked yet.
