Samsung’s Galaxy AI will reach the Galaxy A55 and A35, report says | Infinium-tech
Samsung has introduced the Galaxy AI feature suite for its high-end smartphones, and now it’s getting ready for the next logical step: bringing Galaxy AI to its mid-range smartphones.
According to a new report today, the Galaxy A55 and A35 will be the first smartphones to receive Galaxy AI as part of their One UI 6.1.1 update.
The report doesn’t tell us when we should expect this to happen, but does provide a vague timeline of “this month or next month.” A word of caution, though: not every Galaxy AI feature will be made available on these mid-rangers.
And unfortunately there is no information yet about which features will be included and which will not. The most likely scenario is that Samsung will leave out the features that require the most processing power, since the A55 and A35 do not have that much processing power.
It’s also unclear if the A55 and A35 will be the only A-series devices to get Galaxy AI or just the former. Samsung might want to restrict the suite to its new handsets to garner some more sales.
