Samsung launches a 60W charger in preparation for the Galaxy S26 Ultra | Infinium-tech
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is set to become the first Samsung phone to support wired charging faster than 45W and the company is preparing for it with the launch of its new 60W charger.
It’s simply called the Samsung 60W Power Adapter (model number: EP-T6010NBEGWW) and it has appeared on Samsung.com branches in various countries – all across Europe (for example). austria, sweden, romania), but also South America (peru) and parts of the Middle East (levant,

The charger has a USB-C port and supports Super Fast Charging 2.0. It has a low standby power draw of only 5mW. It supports the following standards: USB-PD (5V, 15V, 20V) and PPS (5-20V) up to 3A. However, there is no AVS support.
The older 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0 adapter (EP-T4511XBEGGB) offered 3A charging up to 15V and 2.25A charging up to 20V, both limiting it to 45W.
Anyway, Samsung advertises that you can use its new 60W charger for the phone, but also for Galaxy tablets and Galaxy Book laptops. Now, no current Galaxy tablets support charging faster than 45W – perhaps the Tab S12 series will change that. However, the Galaxy Books are expected to feature 65W charging.
For safety, the charger supports temperature protection, overcurrent protection, and short circuit protection. Also, it is designed for low (electrical) noise operation.

In Europe, the Samsung 60W Power Adapter costs €53. It is available only in black colour.
P.S. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will also have fast wireless charging, which will go up to 25W (up from 15W for the S25 Ultra). The S26 and S26+ are believed to support 20W wireless charging. However, the wired charging situation is not good for the vanilla S26 flagship.
