Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold prototype with quad-rear cameras surfaces | Infinium-tech
The recently announced Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold sports a triple rear camera setup. However, the company’s first tri-foldable will initially be designed to include quad-rear cameras.
The images shared by a Samsung executive in a LinkedIn post suggest that the Galaxy Z Trifold prototype may have been tested with a quad-rear camera setup.

The executive is seen holding the Galaxy Z Trifold, but a closer look reveals what appears to be a quad-camera setup on the back. The fourth cutout matches the others in diameter but is noticeably thinner.
The device shown is likely a prototype, suggesting that Samsung initially considered a quad-rear camera setup before scrapping the plan.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Trifold comes with a 200MP main rear sensor, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom support. The foldable will go on sale in South Korea on December 12, followed by availability in China, Taiwan, Singapore, UAE, and the US.
