Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 details leak | Infinium-tech
According to a new rumor from a tipster on X, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will come with new band designs and colors, new watch faces, and other new features that will be part of the One UI 9 watch release based on Wear OS 7.
Compared to previous non-Ultra Galaxy watches, the Watch9 is reportedly going to be even boxier, while the Ultra 2 will have thinner bezels, an “improved side button area”, and the orange button will no longer be completely orange – instead it will have an orange outline. Below you can see some software renders of the upcoming watches.

Samsung apparently won’t be releasing a Classic Edition this year, so the ‘vanilla’ Galaxy Watch9 and Ultra 2 are all we’re getting. The Watch9 will be offered in beige, black with a “blue” band, and silver with a green band. The default strap design for both the Watch9 and Ultra 2 will be the same except for the difference in the row of holes.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 along with the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22, exactly a month from now. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is rumored to have an 800mAh battery, while the Galaxy Watch9 will have a 400mAh battery.
