Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra’s battery capacity could disappoint you | Infinium-tech
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra along with the Galaxy Tab S12+ later this year (likely in September, when its predecessor is officially launched in 2025).
According to a new report, the device will reportedly have the same battery capacity as the Tab S11 Ultra. Unfortunately, Samsung has decided not to go beyond 11,600 mAh for whatever reason. Since it’s virtually the same battery pack, it’s also likely to have over 45W wired charging capability like the S11 Ultra.

Interestingly, the Galaxy Tab S12+ is said to come with a larger battery than the Tab S10+ it replaces (Samsung has been alternating between launching a ‘vanilla’ Galaxy S tablet and a Plus model every year, so there was no Galaxy Tab S11+).
The same source also claims that both the Tab S12 Ultra and Tab S12+ will retain the screen sizes of their predecessors, i.e. 14.6″ and 12.4″ respectively. They are expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC. Both the Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra will have a 12MP front camera, and they should launch with Android 17, with Samsung’s own One UI 9 on top of it.
