A recent leak has revealed that the primary camera on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will use a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP2 sensor. Tipster universeice Confirming this, he has also given an interesting detail.
The HP2 is the same sensor that Samsung used for the primary camera of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but this time there is a difference. The aperture of the primary camera of the S25 Ultra is f/1.7, but according to the tipster, the aperture of the 200MP camera of the S26 Ultra will be f/1.4.

This is good news, as the S26 Ultra’s primary camera will capture more light than the S25 Ultra, resulting in better low-light photography.
The sensor also supports pixel-binning, allowing it to produce images at resolutions of 12.5MP, 50MP and 200MP.

According to previous rumors, this 200MP primary camera on the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be joined by a 50MP ultrawide camera (Samsung JN3), a 50MP periscope telephoto camera (IMX854), and a 12MP telephoto camera (Samsung S5K3LD). There will be a 12MP camera (Sony IMX874) on the front for selfies and video calls.
