Samsung Galaxy S26 series gets AirDrop support in Quick Share | Infinium-tech
In November 2025, Google introduced the ability to share files with Apple devices via Quick Share on the Pixel 10 series. Four months later, the newly announced Galaxy S26 lineup also now supports the feature.
At the time, Google confirmed that AirDrop and Quick Share interoperability would be available on older Pixel devices and other Android phones. The feature arrived in the Pixel 9 series last month, and is now expanding to the Galaxy S26 lineup.
In a press release, Samsung confirmed that AirDrop support via Quick Share is available on the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
To use the feature, simply go to the Settings app, navigate to Connected Devices, tap Quick Share and enable the “Share with Apple devices” toggle. Once enabled, you can seamlessly share files with and even receive files from Apple devices.
AirDrop support in Quick Share will also be available on other Android smartphones, but we don’t have a proper timeline. Notably, Oppo recently confirmed that its latest Find X9 series will get this feature soon.
