Samsung Galaxy S25, S25 Ultra thickness revealed | Infinium-tech
Samsung is working on the Galaxy S25 series and today we learned another important feature about the new phones – their thickness. According to leakster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 will be 7.2mm thin, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be 8.2mm thin.
The camera lenses on the S25 (and presumably the S25+) will protrude just 1.8mm from the body, while the S25 Ultra will be 2.4mm thick. In comparison, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is 4.3mm thick from the top of the lens to the edge of the frame.

The 7.2mm body will make the Galaxy S25 the thinnest Galaxy S flagship in a decade; the last time we had a phone this thin was the Galaxy S6, which launched in April 2015. The Ultra’s 8.2mm body is also a milestone for the series, even if it’s only back in February 2020.
We expect the Galaxy S25+ to also have a 7.2mm body, which would be in line with the same thickness of the vanilla and Plus versions over the last five years.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 lineup in January. The Ultra is rumoured to have the same main and telephoto cameras as its predecessor, with only the ultra-wide shooter being upgraded.
The phone will likely be the only device in the lineup to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, but that could change as we heard similar rumors about the S24 series last year.
