Samsung Galaxy M55s runs Geekbench with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset | Infinium-tech
Yesterday, the Samsung Galaxy M55s passed BIS certification. Today it popped up on Geekbench. Its model number is the same as in the certification, SM-M558B, while the original M55 is named SM-M556.
Based on the score sheet, the Galaxy M55s will use the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset as the original M55. The test unit also had 8GB of RAM, which is the base capacity for the M55. So, what’s new?

In the past we have seen upgrades in the camera and battery department in S-Phone. For example, here is what has changed in S-Phone. Galaxy M31s And this Galaxy M30s relative to the vanilla model. For reference, the current M55 has a 50MP main (1/1.56”, OIS) and 8MP ultra wide on the back, as well as a rare 50MP selfie camera. As for the battery, it’s a 5,000mAh cell with 45W charging.
Unfortunately, the battery capacity hasn’t been revealed in any of the certifications released for the M55s, but we’ll keep an eye on it. The launch isn’t far away now.
