Samsung Galaxy F05 announced, a variant of the M05 and A05 | Infinium-tech
A few days ago, Samsung India unveiled the Galaxy M05, which was originally a Re-release of Galaxy A05Now the company has introduced the Galaxy F05, which looks different from the outside, but not from the inside.
The phone’s claim to fame is the leather pattern on the back. As far as we know, there’s only one color available right now, Twilight Blue.
When we look at the back, we see a 50MP camera with f/1.8 aperture. It can record 1080p videos at up to 60fps. Next to it is a 2MP depth sensor. Looking at the front, there is an 8MP camera. In short, this is the same setup as the A05 and M05.
Now that we look at the front, we see a 6.7” PLS LCD with HD+ resolution (720 x 1,600px). It runs at 60Hz. The phone ships with Android 14 and Samsung has promised 2 OS upgrades.
The Galaxy F05, like its siblings, is powered by the now quite old Helio G85 chipset. This is paired with 4GB of RAM (which can be doubled as virtual RAM) and 64GB of storage, which can be expanded via microSD thanks to a dedicated slot. And as the image above suggests, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W charging. However, you will have to bring your own charger, as the phone only comes with a USB C-to-C cable and a SIM ejector tool. The USB-C port is v2.0, additional connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5 (ac) and Bluetooth 5.3. There is no NFC or infrared, but FM radio is available (with a recording option). In case it isn’t obvious, this is a 4G-only phone.
The sale of Samsung Galaxy F05 will start from September 20. It will be available through retail stores, Samsung.com and. FlipkartIts MSRP is Rs 10,000, but it will be launched with a discount, so the starting price will be Rs 8,000.
