Samsung Galaxy A73 receives its last big update | Infinium-tech
Samsung’s One UI 8 party is growing by the day, and today it has reached the Galaxy A73 from 2022. This phone was launched with the promise of four major Android updates, and it came running Android 12, so the update to Android 16 with One UI 8 is the last major OS update it will get so far.
It is now rolling out in Asia, the new build number is A736BXXUAGYJ1. It’s a 2.5GB download and includes the September 2025 security patches, even though they’re almost two months old by now.

If you’re in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines or Vietnam right now you can get it by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install, but the rollout will undoubtedly reach more locations in the coming days and weeks.
