Samsung Galaxy A57 5G may offer faster charging than flagship Galaxy S26 | Infinium-tech
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, a mid-range smartphone, has been spotted on China’s 3C certification website, revealing information about its charging speed. According to the listing, the mid-range phone may offer faster charging speeds than the upcoming Galaxy S26 flagship.
According to the 3C listing, the Galaxy A57 5G (SM-A5760) will support 45W fast charging. The listing reveals support for 10V/4.5A and 15V/3A wired charging.

Meanwhile, the upcoming flagship Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ models were previously listed on the 3C website in September, showing a maximum wired charging speed of 25W.

This decision by Samsung is likely to disappoint potential Galaxy S26 customers. The Galaxy A57 5G will cost significantly less than the flagship phone, but will offer faster charging speeds. Of course, the Galaxy S26 and S26+ will offer better chipsets, cameras, build quality, displays, and other features, but it would have been an added bonus if Samsung had increased the charging speeds as well.
