Samsung Galaxy A56 to bring an important camera upgrade | Infinium-tech
Samsung launched the Galaxy A55 in March, and so is apparently already hard at work on its successor, which we think will arrive during the first quarter of next year.
Today, the camera details of the Galaxy A56 have been leaked and, as they say, we have some good news and some bad news.
Let’s start with the good stuff. The Galaxy A56 will get an upgraded selfie camera, possibly a 12 MP sensor, replacing the 32 MP snapper that has been in use in the A5x line since the launch of the Galaxy A51 in 2019. It’s unclear whether the new camera will be identical to the one used in the Galaxy S flagship line, but it will certainly be an upgrade compared to the A5X devices so far.
That’s all well and good, but it looks like the selfie shooter will be the only upgraded camera compared to the Galaxy A55. Thus, the A56 is said to be equipped with the same 50 MP main snapper, 12 MP ultrawide, and 5 MP macro camera as its predecessor. So if you’re hoping to see a telephoto camera in the Galaxy A5x line (which is Samsung’s best-selling camera, lest we forget), you should probably wait until the A57.
