Samsung Galaxy A37 is on its way, test firmware shows | Infinium-tech
Samsung launched the Galaxy A36 in March, and as we’re fast approaching its one-year anniversary, you probably won’t be surprised to learn that the Korean company is now busy developing its successor, the Galaxy A37.
Firmware for the Galaxy A37 has now been spotted on Samsung’s test servers. This is specifically for the SM-A376U model number, which belongs to the US market. In fact, some of the test builds are for US carriers like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and USCellular.
This is a very good sign that you should expect the Galaxy A37 to have wide availability in the US. It remains to be seen whether it will launch there at the same time as other markets – it took almost four months for the Galaxy A36 to actually become available in the US after its global release, so hopefully Samsung won’t repeat that. The fact that US firmware is already in development is a good sign that this won’t happen.
It’s unclear what we should expect from the A37 specs, as none have been leaked so far. For reference, note that the Galaxy A36 sports a 6.7-inch 1080×2340 Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,900-nit peak brightness, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, 6/8/12GB RAM, 128/256GB storage, triple rear camera system (50MP main with OIS, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro), a Comes with 12MP selfie. camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging support.
