Samsung advertises the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s low-light camera performance with an AI video | Infinium-tech
Samsung recently teased the low-light photography chops of the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, and today the company’s branch in the US has released a short video teasing the phone’s low-light video recording capabilities.
It’s nothing out of the ordinary, but the point is – the teaser video itself was “generated with the assistance of AI tools”, as clearly written in the company’s disclaimer below.
To put it mildly, it’s… interesting. Why wouldn’t Samsung share a video captured in low-light conditions with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, if the idea is to show how good it is?
At one point in the video we are asked “Can your phone do this?” But since this is an AI-“assisted” video, apparently the S26 Ultra can’t “do it” too? It’s quite confusing, and we’re sure the intentions were good here (after all, the company chose to reveal the AI ”assistance” it couldn’t have done), but it still feels like Samsung shot itself in the foot with this, at least a little bit.
Hopefully the S26 Ultra’s actual low-light video recording performance will be better than using AI, so to speak. The phone is officially becoming available on February 25 alongside the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, and along with European pricing, the full spec sheets of all three devices were leaked a while back.
