Report: all Galaxy S26 models will use the Exynos 2600, but not in all regions | Infinium-tech
Samsung is cooking – according to @JukanlosReveFollowing the semiconductor industry closely, the Exynos 2600 will bring massive GPU and NPU performance improvements. This will apparently be enough to defeat Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Apple’s A19 Pro by a pretty solid margin.
And if this is true, then the Exynos 2600 could appear on all Galaxy S26 models, not just the base S26 as initially rumored. At least that’s the leakster ice universe Hearing from our sources. However, that doesn’t mean Snapdragon is finished – there will be regional considerations.
what’s here Jukan Based on information received from Korean media, Exynos 2600 is to be reported. The NPU will be 6 times faster than the Apple A19 Pro (iPhone 17 Pro chipset). This would put it 30% or more above the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 NPU.
And even if you don’t care about AI, multi-core CPU performance is said to be 14% higher and the GPU is 75% faster than the A19 Pro. Compared to the flagship Snapdragon, the Exynos GPU will be up to 29% faster.

Recently, we heard that Samsung is considering releasing the Galaxy S26 Pro with Exynos 2600 globally. There were reports that the Galaxy S26 Ultra would also use a Samsung chip, but that report was refuted.
And now the tables have turned and this is what the rumors say All The S26 models will use the Exynos 2600, at least in some regions – Samsung is reportedly aiming for a 50/50 split between the Exynos 2600 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 units. Phones sold in the US, China and Japan will have Qualcomm chips, while those in Korea, Europe and elsewhere will have Samsung chips.
This is an interesting turn of events as Samsung’s foundries have reportedly been ordered to produce Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chips, presumably using the 2nm GAA node (although, the Exynos 2600 has first dibs on that node). Samsung-made Snapdragon chips are quite likely to end up in Galaxy phones, so all Galaxy S26 models could, in a way, feature Samsung-made chips.

It’s not just the chipset selection, the entire Galaxy S26 series is in change. The Galaxy S26 Pro probably won’t be called that (it’ll just be “Galaxy S26”), the Galaxy S26 Edge was reportedly canceled and the S26+ lives on and the Galaxy S26 Ultra… well, there was never any doubt about its future.
