Renders of the global Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra leak | Infinium-tech
according to the leakster Yogesh BrarXiaomi will launch its two 17-series flagships in the global market around MWC time (2-5 March) – Europe should get them right before, while the Indian launch is reportedly scheduled for early March.
The vanilla Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra flagships (including the Leica Edition) are the ones that will be available globally, while the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will remain in China.
Not that you haven’t seen them before, but here are the leaked images of the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra for the global market. If nothing else, they show the tone we can expect.
Starting with the Xiaomi 17, this beautiful phone is coming in blue, green and black colors. The green color is new as it was not available in China. Looks like China got a pink model that wasn’t invited to the global party.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be available in Starry Green, White and Black colors. The Chinese model already had a green color option, as well as a purple one. The color options for the Leica version are not shown – they have special colors, black and off white.
One important thing to note is that the global Xiaomi 17 Ultra is getting a cut in battery capacity – it will be 6,000mAh instead of 6,800mAh like the Chinese model.
However, this won’t result in a thinner phone, as the global model will reportedly measure 8.29mm, the same as the Chinese model. Probably, the weight is also the same (i.e. 223 grams). Note that the Leica version is slightly thicker and heavier (230 grams) at 8.46 mm.
Previous leaks have revealed that the Xiaomi 17 with 512GB of storage will cost €1,100 – this, presumably, means €1,000 for the 256GB base model. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra 512GB will cost €1,500. These are the same prices as the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra (which, incidentally, launch globally at MWC 2025).
