RedMagic Astra benchmark results – GSMArena.com news | Infinium-tech
Redmagic Astra is a small gaming tablet – with its 9.06 “display, it is more portable than most tablets these days and yet it packs a flagship chip and a fasting Ltpo OLED panel. We got a unit for testing (checking our unboxing) and some results for reporting from our benchmark suits.
First, we introduce hardware. Estra has a 9.06 “LTPO display with 165Hz refresh rate and 2,400 x 1,504px resolution. It is operated by Snapdragon 8 Elite – 4.47GHz with its two prime CPU core with overclocked AC variants with overclocked AC variants and compared to 1.2GHz on its GPU.
Our unit has 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, although the tablet is available in separate configurations between 12GB to 24GB RAM and 256GB and 1TB storage. And we should mention that there is an active-cooling fan and liquid metal with better heat conductivity. However, we will leave continuous performance tests for the latter date.
Starting with Geekbench 6, Redmagic Astra loses in both single and multi-core performance, another Snapdragon 8 Elite Slate, OnePlus Pad 3 loses. It defeats a previous redmaijic model, Nova Tablet (Snapdragon 8 gene) in single and multi-recore tests from 16% and 13% respectively.
Since it is a gaming tablet, graphics test probably matters the most. Here the Redmagic Estra essentially matches the OnePlus Pad 3. Compared to Snapdragon 8S General 3, compared to less powerful slates, Estra got double points. And keep in mind that this test runs on a certain resolution (2160p), so others do not have an excuse for a high resolution display (and their displays are actually high resolution, in part because they are big).
Estra eliminates things with victory in Antutu. Its score is 17% higher than OnePlus and 22% higher than Nova. The score doubles what you will get from a Snapdragon 8S General 3 operated tablet.
They are some competitive results, given that the Redmagic Estra is quite cheap with prices starting from $ 470/€ 470/£ 410.
We have not tested whether the fan has yet to have a commendable impact on benchmark results. He said, you can take a look at how much it (rather less) is done for the Redmagic 10s Pro. The 10s Pro is a phone, of course, but it uses the same Snapdragon 8 Elite (AC) chipset with the same liquid metal and fan cooling setup.
