RedMagic 11 Pro brings its liquid cooling to the global stage | Infinium-tech

RedMagic recently made its flagship smartphone available globally in the form of RedMagic 11 Pro. This might be a bit confusing for anyone keeping track of tech news as this newly announced model is identical to the RedMagic 11 Pro+ in China.

This gaming phone comes with impressive features and a first in the industry. The RedMagic 11 Pro is the first mass-produced phone with liquid cooling.

The solution is called AquaCore, and it’s also incorporated into the phone’s design – you can see the cooling on the back of the phone in two transparent finishes – NightFreeze and SubZero. There is a third, non-transparent model, which is black, called Cryo.

The RedMagic 11 Pro has the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but it also has an in-house RedCore R4 chip. Both, combined with LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 Pro storage, enable niceties like super resolution frame interpolation, improved touch response, and 33% lower latency.

The Snapdragon SoC offers 4.6GHz CPU frequency, 1.2GHz GPU frequency, and 37% faster NPU compared to the previous RedMagic flagship.

It is paired with 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of RAM.

Redmagic says the vapor chamber on its 11 Pro is the largest in the world at 13,116 mm². Add to this the liquid metal layer, active liquid cooling, and a 24,000 rpm active fan, and the RedMagic 11 Pro should deliver some impressive sustained performance.

RedMagic says its phone beats the iPhone 17 Pro Max in a head-on gaming test, with a higher average FPS (60.9 fps vs. 59.6 fps), better frame rate variation (0.5 fps vs. 6.5 fps), and less battery consumption while gaming (27% vs. 49%).

The rest of the specs are quite impressive. Upfront there’s a 6.85-inch 144Hz AMOLED with seamless surface area, thanks to the latest generation under-screen camera – a 16MP unit.

The phone packs a 7,500mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. There are two 50MP cameras on the back – a wide-angle and a fixed-focus ultrawide, as well as a 2MP dedicated macro.

RedMagic 11 Pro is available exclusively through redmagic.gg and selected partners and in a wide range of countries in North America, Europe (including the UK), Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East.
