Realme UI 7.0 launches with Light Glass Design, iPhone and Apple Watch support | Infinium-tech
Realme GT8 Pro is gearing up for a global launch this month and will be the first to bring the latest Realme UI 7.0, which is based on Android 16.
Realme UI 7.0 is a major redesign, employing different types of transparency. The overarching look is called “Light Glass Design” and features glass-inspired transparency, depth and fluidity. Then there’s the ice cube icon, the misty glass Control Center, and the breathing dock.
The user interface is also becoming more customizable. Flux Theme 2.0 adds large text themes. You can set a panoramic view for the Always On Display and customize the fingerprint unlock animation. You can set a live photo or video as wallpaper and apply AI-generated depth of field effects. There are new widgets and lockscreen styles, as well as resizable Flux desktop icons.
New this version is iPhone and Apple Watch Connect. This will allow you to sync health data from Apple Watch to your Realme phone. Also, calls and messages from iPhone will be visible on Realme watches.
The multi-task sidebar provides quick access to selected apps and key tools without exiting the current app. Under-the-hood optimizations of the Flux Engine improve overall system responsiveness by 15%, make app scrolling 29% smoother and increase daily performance by 22%. New seamless animations also help create a fluid experience.
Realme UI 7.0 also leverages AI to reduce notification spam – AI Notify Briefs will take out non-urgent notifications and create morning and evening briefs for you. It can also schedule updates and create to-dos to help you manage your time better.
Another feature is the AI Framing Master, which will guide budding photographers and help them get the best framing of a scene by explaining the underlying composition principles so users can do it themselves the next time. Similarly, the AI Gaming Coach will provide insights to your game to help you get out of a sticky situation.

Realme UI 7.0 will be available on the Realme GT 8 Pro out of the box. The new OS version and UI will start rolling out to older models this month – the Realme GT 7 Pro will be the first to get it.
