Realme showcases its own version of Apple’s Camera Control button | Infinium-tech
Arguably, one of the most exciting new features in this year’s iPhone 16 series is the new camera control button, which is technically not a button. It’s a pressure-sensitive area with a precise haptic motor that mimics the physical press of a button. Well, Realme’s VP and CMO, Chase Xu, teased the same “button” on an unannounced phone in a Weibo video.
Chase Xu points out that you can instantly launch the camera and then use the buttons for various controls, including zoom. To be honest, it doesn’t look as intuitive as the iPhones, but this is a pre-production sample, so it will probably get better when it’s released.
Chase says the button uses the same technology as Apple’s camera control button and later clarifies that the button is the same as Apple’s camera control button. Not there. The company’s much-awaited flagship – the Realme GT7 Pro. Nevertheless, it looks like Realme has been working on this feature for quite some time now and it is almost ready for release.
