Realme reenters smartwatch space with Watch S2, Buds T310 also debut | Infinium-tech
It’s been a few years, but Realme is back in the smartwatch game with the announcement of the Watch S2.
This is a proprietary OS watch, which means it lacks proper third-party app support, but it can deliver up to 20 days on a single charge with its 380mAh battery.
The case of the Realme Watch S2 is made of steel and is available in black, gray and silver, with a choice of silicone and steel bands. The watch is IP68 dust and water-tight and can work up to 5 meters underwater.
Realme says the Watch 2 can withstand temperatures ranging from -40° C to +70° C and has a screen hardness of 7H.
Keeping up with the times, the Realme Watch S2 is powered by AI. You can use it to create your own watch faces, it optimizes battery performance, and it has over 110 sports modes that are analyzed by AI.
The Realme Watch S2 goes on sale in India starting at 6pm today. The starting price is Rs 5,299 for the Grey Steel model (normally Rs 9,999), while the Black and Silver models with silicone band are priced at Rs 4,999 (normally Rs 7,999).
The Realme Buds T310 (that’s a bad name if we’ve ever seen one) are available in Purple, Black, and White colours and come with an in-ear design with adjustable three-level hybrid noise cancellation. Realme claims that it offers up to 46 dB of noise reduction.
Each bud has a 12.4mm dynamic bass driver and you get a total of 40 hours of playback with the case. The buds support Bluetooth 5.4 with 360° spatial audio, 45ms ultra-low latency mode, and dual device connection.
Lastly, the Realme Buds T310 are IP55 dust and water-resistant.
The Realme Buds T310 will go on sale on August 5 with a special early bird price of INR 2,499 (INR 3,999 thereafter).
