Realme GT 8 runs Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite | Infinium-tech
Realme will launch the GT 8 series in October with a vanilla and pro model. The vanilla model is conducting some informal tests and the results have been revealed from the Geekbench 6.5.0.
Realme GT 8 will be operated by the original Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the Pro model will have the brand’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Jean 5. If you miss it, we have benchmark General 5 chip, which is no one other than Realum GT8 Pro (a prototype version of the phone, at least). The new chip promises 20% of CPU performance uplift compared to previous models.
Here are the results of Realme GT 8 (RMX6699, model for China). Single-core and multi-core are around CPU scores that we will expect. The RAM capacity for this model is 16GB, although the base capacity can still be 12GB.
Realme GT 8 (RMX6699) Results from Geekbench 6.5.0
Note that this is the version of Geekbench 6.5.0, while most of the benchmarking so far have been done at V6.4.0. Another thing that can throw the score is that the phone runs Android 15 for some reason – perhaps it is the initial growth software. Realme already has Android 16/Realme UI 7.0. And GT 8 Pro is expected to run Android 16 out of the box.
Meanwhile, the phone also appeared at 3C with certification for 100W wired charging. If we look at the Chinese GT7, the model supported 100W wired-cavity for its 7,200mAh SI/C battery, while Global GT 7 had 120W wired-3 charging for 7,000mAh SI/C battery. We expect to see some regional diversities this year too.

We have seen a lot of leaks, but the company has officially confirmed only a few details and all of them are about the GT8 Pro, not the Vanilla GT8. The Pro General will use 5 chip. It will also have QHD display and 200MP camera.
