Realme details GT 8 Pro design ahead of global launch | Infinium-tech

Last month, Realme announced its flagship GT 8 Pro in China with a new design approach. There’s a removable lens cover on the back that allows for easy customization and a variety of styles, from round to square and robot styles, with a variety of colors and material finishes.

Ahead of the global launch of the GT8 Pro, Realme shared some additional information about the GT8 Pro’s switchable camera bump and its other key design features.

The lens cover on the GT8 Pro is held on with two screws, allowing users to experiment with different styles. While Realme will offer a first-party camera bump, more tech-savvy users will be able to create their own unique 3D printed designs.

Realme is also applying subtle contrasting colors to the “robot-themed” lens module below the camera lens cover for added style.

Realme GT 8 Pro will be available in Diary White and Urban Blue colors. Apart from the removable camera bump, the GT8 Pro also brings a new “paper-like” back finish on the Urban Blue variant of the GT8 Pro. Realme has implemented a new process that uses recycled plastics and textiles. The back cover also features organic dye and spray-applied organic silicone coating, which Realme proudly claims is capable of achieving 0.02mm precision engraving.

Apart from the GT8 Pro’s impressive design, Realme confirmed that the global version will have the same key features as the China model, including the same 7,000mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging and IP66, IP68 and IP69 ingress protection. Realme has not yet revealed the exact date of the global launch of the GT 8 Pro, but we should know more details in the coming days.
