Qualcomm rumored to be prepping overclocked Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 | Infinium-tech
Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8S General 4 chipset in April, and has been used as an upper-conference option in seven smartphones so far.
A new rumor of China Today claims that Qualcomm will bring its SOC range even greater variety, as it is getting ready to offer a Snapdragon 8S General 4 “Pro” or “Plus” version.

While the source of leakage it does not say, we believe that it means a high bin of the chip, some overclocked with the core. This will result in some “turbo” performance compared to the alleged non-app version, but it remains to be seen what we really see.
It is not clear when this chip will be official, but Qualcomm is holding its annual Snapdragon summit later this month, so we believe that when it is being announced. In that event, we also expect to see Snapdragon 8 General 5 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Jean 5.
