Qualcomm now has two new binned versions of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 | Infinium-tech
You read that right, Qualcomm’s 2023 flagship chipset – Snapdragon 8 General 3 has two new versions.
The new one can be a relative word here, as both the original chip has two less functioning versions with the CPU core. The new Snapdragon 8 General 3 version was offered six-core CPUS in both SM8650-Q-Ab and SM8650-q-AA, with an earlier underclock CPU cluster offered which is a clock on 3.3GHz and 3.0GHZ respectively.

It has the same pineapple code name, typically associated with Snapdragon 8 General 3, but its CPU layout comes with six core instead of eight.

There is a 3.3GHz Prime Cortex-X4 core such as 4x Cortex-A720 core with regular SD8 General 3 @ 2.96GHz and 1x Cortex-A520 proficiency core @ 2.27GHz. The listing also confirms that chip features are the same adreno 750 GPU.
While Qualcomm has not posted a detailed CPU configuration of the new 8 General 3 chips, other new versions (SM8650-Q-AA) are expected to feature an underclock Prime core, which is seen on 3.0GHz.
The two new models join the regular Snapdragon 8 General 3, which operated the 2024 flagship Android phone for the Galaxy/Leading version, with an overclocked Cortex-X4 prime core. The Qualcomm has another underclock Snapdragon 8 gene (SM8650-AA) found on devices such as Honor 400 Pro.
