Poco F8 Ultra runs Geekbench as its launch nears | Infinium-tech
The Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro may launch soon, much ahead of the one-year anniversary of their predecessors in March. Although the brand hasn’t made any official announcement on the matter, we’re saying so because both devices have already started doing the certification dance around the world, and we’ve also seen “Sound by Bose” revealed on the box of the F8 Pro.
On the other hand, the F8 Ultra has just hit Geekbench, and that, as always, means we’ll know which chipset is powering it. You will be glad to know that this is Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This was paired with 16GB of RAM on the unit that ran the benchmarks, while the software on board was Android 16. Of course, this phone will come with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 on top when it launches.

So, at least in terms of chipset and memory, the Poco F8 Ultra will be a top device. Other specs have not been leaked yet, but the Poco F8 Ultra is very likely to be a rebranded Redmi K90 Pro Max.
If so, expect it to sport a 6.9-inch 1200×2608 AMOLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,500-nit peak brightness and 2,560Hz PWM, up to 1TB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50MP main with OIS, 50MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom, 50MP ultrawide), a 32MP Will come along. There’s a selfie camera, a Bose sound system with two stereo speakers and a woofer at the back, and a 7,560 mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
