The main camera will reportedly use Sony’s recently announced Lixia 901 sensor, which is a 1/1.12″ type with a 200MP resolution. The main camera will have a focal length of 23mm.

The ultrawide camera will reportedly use a 1/2.76″ type Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor with a 50MP resolution. The ultrawide will have a 15mm focal length. Interestingly, the JN5 sensor will make another appearance in the 230mm telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom.
Last but certainly not least, a 70mm periscope telephoto camera, which will use a 1/1.28″ type OmniVision OV52A sensor with 200MP resolution. This camera will have a 3x optical zoom.
If this turns out to be the case – and it’s a big deal, given that the information comes from a source with basically no track record – then it’s certainly an interesting setup, with two zoom cameras with the one closest to the camera having a significantly larger sensor.
